Watauga Arts Academy,

Austin Peay State University is proud to host the Watauga Arts Academy, a new summer arts camp for high school students having completed grades 9-12. This year's camp will take place Sunday, June 8 - Saturday, June 21 with offerings in four program areas: Art, Dance, Music, and Theatre. Students will participate in activities in their program area as well as a variety of cross-curricular and interdisciplinary activities with students and faculty from other areas. Applications for summer 2014 are now being accepted via the online Application Form. Application instructions are listed on the Admissions page, and audition requirements and guidelines are explained on the Auditions page. Please note that links to uploaded audition materials must be included when submitting the online application. A teacher recommendation from a high school or private teacher in the student's program area (art, dance, music, or theatre) is also required and should be submitted via the online Teacher Recommendation Form.

Early: March 17 - Application fee waived
Standard: April 7 - $25 application fee

Students are encouraged to apply earlier for maximum consideration for scholarships. See the Scholarships page for more information.
